Priority Registration

Priority registration, as a reasonable accommodation, is determined on a case-by-case basis by the Office of Disability Services (ODS). When students with disabilities are eligible to register for classes early, students will share their accommodation verification letter (AVL) with their academic advisors, in order to implement the accommodation. When programs of study have a set curriculum, the student will contact the academic advisor and ODS for procedural aspects to provide the accommodation, based on the nature of the disability. For additional information regarding AVL’s, go to:  Accommodation Verification Letter.

After registering for the future term’s classes, students with disabilities need to take appropriate actions in order to receive corresponding accommodations. For additional information about requesting accommodations, go to: Requesting Accommodations.
