University Holds

The Office of Disability Services (ODS) is committed to the full participation of employees, students, and guests in Drexel University’s programs, activities, and environments. When ODS provides adaptive technology, equipment, alternative formats, batteries, etc. on a loan basis, individuals with disabilities are accountable for the reasonable wear and tear and return of the materials. If materials are not returned in a reasonable condition and within ten University days¹ from the end of each term/semester or period of employment, ODS will place a Hold on student accounts, bill employees for the cost of replacing the materials, or bill the sponsor of the event. ODS strongly recommends the return of, and reasonable care taken in the use of on-loan equipment and materials.

Once a University Hold has been placed, the Hold will be removed within 24 hours after the individual with a disability returns or pays for the cost of replacing the material.

¹ University days means days when the University is open for normal business operations
