DUST
Does your event require a microphone? Sound equipment? A laptop and projection? If yes, then you need to contact Drexel University Student Technicians (DUST). DUST is a group of Drexel University students who perform the task of audio and image magnification support for Drexel University events. Any organization that has an event on the Drexel University main campus can utilize DUST services for a fraction of the cost of hiring an outside sound company. In fact, student organizations recognized by the Office of Campus Activities may request DUST services for free.
How do I request DUST services?
- First, you must be sure to have a reserved room or space on-campus through the Event Services Office.
- Pick up a DUST request form at the DUST office (119 Creese) or print the online version here
- Fill out the DUST request form and turn it into the DUST office at least one week before the date of your event. DUST requests turned in with less than a one week notice may be subject to a $100 service charge, or the request may not be filled at all.
- Contact the DUST office at 215-895-1330 two days prior to your event to confirm arrangements.
NOTE: DUST requests are accepted on a first come, first serve basis as equipment and technicians are available.
If you have questions about the services DUST provides refer to the DUST website at http://www.drexel.edu/studentlife/dust or contact DUST by phone 215-895-1330, email dust@drexel.edu, or the DUST office in Creese 119.
