Online Graduate Student Organization Orientation Training (SOOT)

The Office of Campus Activities and
Commuter, Graduate and Transfer Student Programs and Services
are pleased to announce that
Student Organization Orientation Training (SOOT)
is now available as an online workshop and quiz!
GRADUATE ORGANIZATION SOOT 2011-2012
There are three versions of SOOT for graduate student organizations:
- University City SOOT for Returning Leaders – Students who have viewed a Graduate SOOT presentation previously
- University City SOOT for New Leaders – Students how have never viewed a Graduate SOOT Presentation
- Center City SOOT – For student organizations housed on the Center City campus
The University City versions of Graduate SOOT are available ONLINE any time. University City Graduate Organization presidents and treasurers must view the presentation and complete the corresponding quiz in order to complete recognition.
For Center City groups, you will go through SOOT presentation with Phi Nguyen to complete recognition. Email her at phing@drexel.edu to schedule this meeting.
NOTE: These SOOT presentations are for Graduate Student Organizations ONLY!
Undergraduate/Joint & Club Sports Organizations must complete a separate version of SOOT.

University City students, after watching the presentation, take the quiz which corresponds to the SOOT you viewed:
Log-in to DrexelOne and click the “Drexel” tab. Next, click the CollegiateLink hyperlink located on the bottom left-hand side of the page under the Campus Involvement menu header. You will then be logged-in to CollegiateLink. Then insert one of the following links into your browser:
• Return Leaders: https://drexel.collegiatelink.net/form/start/3960
• New Leaders: https://drexel.collegiatelink.net/form/start/3854
Upon completion of the quiz, you will have successfully fulfilled your personal/individual SOOT requirement. Once your organization’s president and treasurer have viewed SOOT, your organization will have completed this step toward recognition for the 2011-2012 academic year.
Please allow 7-10 days upon completing the SOOT online quiz for results to be returned. Once the last of your (2) officers has completed SOOT, you will receive an update on your recognition status within 7-10 days after your last member has taken the quiz.
