Posters (Posting Policy)
The Creese Information Desk handles the University Posting policy. To hang posters, they need to be approved and stamped at the Creese Information Desk. You are allowed 60 posters to be stamped and placed around campus per event, and the Creese Information Desk will give you a list of available locations and bulletin boards around campus. For more information, click here.
Residence Hall Postings
Any university or individual organization wishing to advertise an event in the residence halls must have posters and flyers approved by the Office of Residential Living and get what a "Hall Pass" to post in each individual building. Maximum allowance for RLO is around 100 posters. These posters/fliers do not need to be stamped at the Creese Information Desk.
Additional information is listed in the Student Handbook under Residential Living or can be learned by contacting Residential Living in Towers Hall or at 215-895-6155.
Poster Maker
Large posters can be made in the Office of Campus Activities from a PDF that is created as the size you want the final poster to be.
Student Organizations are allotted 1 free 24x36 A-Frame size poster per term for FREE and then each poster will cost $5.00 charged to your student organization account after that. Posters should be submitted at least 72 hours (3 business days) in advance for printing.
The file must be formatted as a PDF, the actual size needed. If you have further questions, please contact askoca@drexel.edu.
SORC COPY MACHINE
Student organizations should visit the Student Organization Resource Center (SORC) in the Greenawalt Student Development Center and use the copy machine when making up to 50 copies. The SORC has a number of different colors of paper on-hand to use.
All student organizations receive 50 free print-outs and/or copies per term. Additional print-outs/copies after this amount cost $.03 each. These charges are placed directly to the organization’s account. An ID# and password are provided to student organizations for copier use.
Please see someone in the SORC if you have forgotten your codes. If your group is making more than 50 copies, requires a higher-quality paper stock, or other premium options, we recommend utilizing the Drexel Copy Center for your order.
