Promote Your Organization - Physical

Display Case
The Creese Lobby has a display case that student organizations and departments can reserve. The display case can be used for promoting your organization, celebrating an anniversary or accomplishment, or advertising an event. To reserve the display case, complete the Lobby Display Case Request Form.

Sandwich Board/A-Frame
A sandwich board/A-Frame is a free-standing advertisement with two hinged boards standing in an A -shape placed in a busy location in Creese Student Center and used to advertise an event or organization. A student organization may reserve a sandwich board/A-Frame for advertising for one week. The board will be placed inside the Chestnut Street entrance of the Creese building. To reserve a sandwich board/A-Frame contact the Office of Campus Activities at askoca@drexel.edu or 215-895-1328 with the date that you would like to reserve the boards. The following information should also be included: Contact person’s name, e-mail address, and telephone number, along with the name of the student organization. The Office of Campus Activities will then contact you to verify your reservation.

NOTE: Student organizations must be recognized by the Office of Campus Activities in order to utilize a sandwich board.

Activities Unlimited
Activities Unlimited is held the first Wednesday of Fall and Spring terms during Welcome Back. This student organization fair allows groups to share who they are with the greater campus population by distributing information, talking with prospective members, and displaying pictures and other organization artifacts. Forms are put in student organization mailboxes by week 6 of the previous term and are typically due 2 weeks before Activities Unlimited. Presidents are e-mailed when sign-up time starts.

Get Connected
Do you want to contact students who are already interested in what your organization does? Each year at New Student Orientation, new students complete a “Get Connected” survey where they identify what kinds of organizations they want to contact them. Whether performing arts, community service, academic, or other this list of student names and e-mails can help you target your recruitment. Each Spring/Summer, organizations can sign-up to get their category included in the survey and have the student list sent to them early Fall. Groups can also get relevant lists throughout the year by contacting OCA. For more information about Get Connected email askoca@drexel.edu.

Word of Mouth
The best way to promote your organization is always word of mouth. The greater buzz you can create about your organization or your event the better. So talk it up to those you know. When you talk, talk positively and create interest so your friends tell their friends and so on.
