APPLICATION DESTINATIONS HOW TO PLAN AN ASB TRIP ASB PHOTOS
Being an Alternative Spring Break (ASB) trip leader gives you an opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of Drexel University students and the community you serve. You will help promote a week-long group traveling, community living, alcohol and drug free, service experience!
- Funding for an ASB Trip
One of the most important aspects of a successful Alternative Spring Break experience is to make sure that your trip is fully funded. Fortunately, student organizations at Drexel University have multiple opportunities to receive funding for their ASB trip:
- SAFAC – click HERE for more SAFAC information
- CAP Funding – click HERE for a sample CAP Proposal
- Fundraising - The Office of Campus Activities has created the Fundraising Guide as a comprehensive resource for Drexel University’s student organizations complete with a variety of helpful fundraising ideas and websites.
- Selecting a Destination for an ASB trip
You and your group should discuss what kind of experience you are looking to gain from this trip. Most organizations select their ASB experience to relate to the mission of the organization, but this is not a requirement.
Here are some resources for ASB trip destinations: (The hyperlinks go to their respective sites)
