Message from Director
Welcome to Drexel University and welcome to the office of International Students and Scholars Services (ISSS). ISSS offers a vast array of programs and services to more than 1,800 international students, scholars, and faculty. The ISSS staff works to promote meaningful interaction between United States Citizens and nationals of other countries by organizing cultural enrichments opportunities for all members of the Drexel community. A student’s affiliation with ISSS begins immediately after the admission process and continues well beyond graduation. ISSS staff can advise international students, scholars and faculty on immigration, cultural, financial, academic and personal concerns, and makes appropriate referrals when necessary.
My vision is shaped by a great passion to advocate for the international student, scholar and faculty population on campus and to create a cultural understanding among the Drexel community. To do this ISSS creates avenues for exploring and enhancing the social, cultural, and educational facets of our diverse community, including orientation programs, World Fusion Fest and social support groups for spouses of students and scholars.
