Downloading the Cisco VPN Client for Windows XP

    1. Click here to go to the secure Drexel Software page.  A login box like the one shown on the right should appear.  Enter your Drexel username prefaced by "drexel\" and your Drexel domain password, as shown.  This is the same username and password you use to log in to computers in the Korman Center or your own computer if it logs in to the Drexel domain.  If the login box doesn't appear or you have any other problems logging in to the Software page, please visit our Software SSL Help Page.

    2. Once you're logged in, click either the "Students" or "FacultyandStaff" link, whichever is appropriate for you.

    3. Click "PCSoftware".
    4. Click "Cisco_VPN".

    5. Click "CiscoVPN_4.8.exe"

    6. Windows will ask what you want to do with the file.  For now, click "Save".  When the "Save" dialog box appears, click "Desktop" in the left-hand column.
    7. Click "Save" to save the file to your Desktop.
    8. When the download completes, the download window may close by itself.  If it doesn't, click "Close" to close it.
You can now go on to prepare Windows XP to use the VPN client.  If you're upgrading from an older version and have already done the preparation, you can jump right to uninstalling an older VPN client.
