Mac OS X Leopard - Software Compatibility
|
Whenever a new operating system is released, there are inevitably some software compatibility issues. Older software may require components or functions that don't exist in the new OS and even more current software could have issues. Obviously, given the number of software packages and programs available for Mac OS X, there is no 100% comprehensive reference on what software is or isn't compatible with Leopard. |
| IRT has tested those applications that are site-licensed by the University and available via our software download page (https://software.drexel.edu). For the most part, mainstream applications like Microsoft Office 2004 are fairly trouble-free and appear 100% compatible. In cases where software is not compatible, most vendors will release new versions, updates, or patches that will work with Leopard. Once these updates are released, IRT will make every effort to make them available as soon as possible. Click here for Leopard compatibility info regarding IRT-supported software. |
