New Version of an Old Worm: W32.Sobig.F@mm
The latest variant of the Sobig worm hit the Internet on Tuesday, Aug 19, 2003. Since the Drexel mail server began scanning for the worm before it propagated in the eastern U.S., many Drexel users will have seen nothing, or only the cover emails with the infected attachment deleted. Nonetheless, we recommend that you run Live Update on Norton Anti-Virus and then do a full scan.
