Changes at Korman Center - BYOL
Bring your own ... laptop!
The latest innovation in the ever changing Korman Center is the reconfiguration of the public access cluster to accommodate laptop computers. Workstations within the cluster now provide data jacks and power sources for users to plug in their own laptops.
This new service enables users to access the high-speed network with their own laptops while saving the drain on their batteries.
Some laptops are available for check out to be used in Korman. A few desktop PCs and Macs are also set up in the cluster. Machines in classrooms may be used when classes are not in session.
