    Wireless Security

    Security should be and is a big concern when dealing with wireless networks. Wireless antennas receive and transmit data for hundreds of feet in all directions (including up and down). Without some form of data encryption, anyone within that range can see what you're sending or receiving.

    DragonFly used industry-standard security provisions. Dragonfly2 uses better security, but it is still not the best. Both these networks use WEP encryption which requires an encryption key (details below). The standard used by the newest DragonFly3 is very secure.
