Special Instructions re December 2005 changes
Secure and reliable email, anti-spam filtering, virus scanning and detection, are motivations for configuring email clients to use Drexel email in the manner described below. These settings are required for all Drexel email users when identifying your mail and your sender address as someone@drexel.edu.
Server information for Drexel's central Incoming and Outgoing mail servers are below. Email client specific instructions are below that.

If you have an account on one of the departmental mail servers (coe.drexel.edu, newton.physics.drexel.edu, cis.drexel.edu, mcs.drexel.edu, etc.), please contact your department's system administrator for the appropriate server information. For coe.drexel.edu, contact help@coe.drexel.edu.

Note to those with multiple Drexel email profiles or settings for multiple email accounts: All mailboxes/profiles you access must be configured in the same way; that is, with SMTP Auth, SSL encryption, and as a bona fide @drexel.edu account user. Choose your email client from the list for specific setup instructions.
