How do I hook my cable to my television?

How do I hook up my cable to my television?
- If you have cable coming out of the jack in the wall, screw it into the back of your television where it says "Cable" or "CATV."
- Make sure to set your switch to CATV.
- In most cases, put your Standard/HRC/IRC switch into Standard position. Make sure to set your switch to CATV.
What if I have an old television that has no CATV or CABLE plug on it? To the Contents!
You can obtain a "matching transformer" from your local Radio Shack or electronics store.
What if I want to hook up a VCR too?
- Take the cable coming out of your wall jack and screw it into the antenna or CATV "In" on your VCR.
- Using the jumper or wire that came with your VCR, screw one end into the "out" port on your VCR and the other end into the CATV or antenna "In" on your television.
- Make sure your television is tuned to the output channel selected on your VCR (usually 3 or 4).
What if I did this and there is still no picture? To the Contents!
- Double-check the connections. Make sure you are on the selected channel on your television.
- Make sure you have selected "Standard" in most cases.
- If you are using a VCR, and your television or VCR has fine-tuning capabilities, fine-tune your television or VCR until the picture becomes clear.
I did that and it still does not work!
