Apple (Mac OS, iOS) Workshops

There are currently no Apple Workshop sessions scheduled. To request one be put on our training calendar, you can send an e-mail to the Online Learning Team.

NOTE: In order to have Apple present on any topics, we must have a minimum of 12 folks registered to attend a session. If we do not have the minimum number, we will notify registrants at least 24 hours in advance of a session being canceled.

The Online Learning Team has a self-paced, virtual environment for training in Microsoft Office. To be enrolled in this course, you can send an e-mail to the Online Learning Team. Be sure to include your name and Drexel username in your request.

There are currently no Respondus sessions scheduled. To request one be put on our training calendar, you can send an e-mail to the Online Learning Team.

SharePoint

Web Content

Note: It is highly recommended that users taking any Web Content training are comfortable with basic computing tasks such as: navigating a file system, creating and saving files, how to use a browser and how to work with .zip files.

Web Page Editing with Dreamweaver

This workshop will focus on adding and editing content for pre-existing web pages and websites using the Dreamweaver editor. Users will learn best practices for formatting text and adding media to web pages and discover the tools that are available to make text conversion from multiple sources easier and more efficient.​

HTML Basics

This workshop introduces the basic elements necessary to create a simple, but functional, web page. Participants will learn the structure of a web page, introductory concepts such as how web pages work, the web standards model and HTML syntax. In hands-on exercises, participants will use a text editor to create a web page including text formatting, basic data layout, links, and images.​
