A cooperative education (co-op) is an experiential approach to learning that has been a distinguishing characteristic of Drexel University for more than 90 years. In a balance of classroom theory with practical experience, undergraduates become part of the workforce and gain first-hand experience and insight into the professional life that they someday plan to pursue.
Advisors at Drexel place 4,500 students a year in jobs with 1,700 national and international employers.
The Co-op Program is run through the Steinbright Career Development Center. it is a program designed to enhance the students' learning experience, however, there are opportunities for Drexel alumni to also get involved.
