Obtaining a Certification of Enrollment

 

All certifications of enrollment can be obtained through the National Student Loan Clearinghouse. Drexel University has authorized the National Student Loan Clearinghouse to issue all official certifications of enrollment on behalf of the University.   Please follow the instructions to obtain your certification of enrollment:
  1. Log into DrexelOne https://one.drexel.edu/
  2. Select the Students tab
  3. Under the Student Records Menu select More BannerWeb Student Records
  4. Select Obtain a Certification of Enrollment
  5. You will be taken to an informational page instructing you to request your certification through the National Student Loan Clearinghouse.
  6. Select continue below.
  7. A new browser window will open and you will be taken out of DrexelOne and into the secure National Student Loan Clearinghouse website.
  8. Once you are on the National Student Loan Clearinghouse website you will be required to enter the following Information:
    • First Name, Middle initial and Last Name
    • Date of Birth
    • Your Social Security Number (twice)
  9. Select login and you will be taken to the student self service page selection screen.
  10. Under the Obtain an enrollment certificate menu, select either current enrollment or all enrollment and then select the Obtain an enrollment certificate link.
  11. Your certificate of enrollment will open in a new browser window in PDF format and you can select the printer icon at the top of the page to print your certificate.
  12. Once done close the page
  13. You will be returned to the clearinghouse site page. Please remember to log off of the clearinghouse site
  14. Once you have logged off of the clearinghouse site you will be asked to close the clearinghouse site page by selecting the Click Here to close the Clearinghouse Screen
  15. You will now be returned to DrexelOne on the 'obtain a certification of enrollment' instruction screen. You can use the back button on the screen to return to the menus items in DrexelOne within Student Records.

Veterans Educational Benefits

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs offers educational benefits to veterans, service personnel and dependents under the G.I. Bill. All qualified recipients must apply for educational benefits by filing the proper forms with the Office of the University Registrar and their regional Veterans Affairs office.

 

Veterans Certification

VA students who need certified for their GI Bill benefits will need to complete the following form:

New students must first contact the VA Certifying Official on their respective campus to receive the request form and additional information. Continuing students can retrieve the form here. These forms should be filed at the start of each academic year or the term(s) student wishes to initiate the VA benefits process.

The veteran's Administration office issues the following guidelines for Student enrollment status:

Undergraduate Students
12 or more credits FULL-TIME
9 - 11.5 credits 3/4 TIME
6 - 8.5 credits 1/2 TIME
3 - 5.5 credits LESS THAN 1/2 TIME
0 - 2.5 credits 1/4 TIME

Graduate Students
9 or more credits FULL-TIME
6 - 8.5 credits 3/4 TIME
3 - 5.5 credits 1/2 TIME
1 - 2.5 credits LESS THAN 1/2 TIME
0 - 2.5 credits 1/4 TIME
